Hello to all our family, friends, loved ones and interested visitors.
Welcome to our blog.
Many years ago we decided to expand our family, although we never imagined traveling to China to do so.
We started the process almost 4 1/2 years ago and finally have received the referral for our baby girl.
Her chinese is Yu Meng Qi and she was born November 19, 2009.
We have decided to name her Lauren Nicole Meng Qi Haig and will be leaving for China on July 1.
Marianne and I are delighted to have a new baby in the family and we are both excited and nervous for everything that goes with this addition. Matt is happy to become a big brother and we know he will be great at it
We will try and add pictures and updates to the blog while we are in China so that everyone can join us on this crazy adventure.
We are truly blessed to have such a loving family and great friends. We hope everyone will welcome our little girl into their lives and hearts.
